West Coast/American/Pacific Marine Funds
The West Coast /American/Pacific Maine Funds were established in the early 1930s by fishing vessel owners with the goal of creating an association who's members share financial responsibility for each other’s hull and machinery losses, in order to eliminate careless operation of fishing vessels and to encourage safe operations. The Funds operate as an unincorporated association for the benefit of its members and do not operate for profit.آ Each Fund is operated by a Board of Directors elected by their respective membership, and they are responsible for management and control of the funds as well as a general manager.
